Final Friday!

Hello! And welcome new backers!
Let's take this final friday to do a bit of housekeeping! I'll intersperse with some inspirational images so it's hopefully not too boring!

Commercial Licenses

We've been in conversation with our friends at Trench Crusade HQ, just to double check that we've made the right call, and we've all decided that we will stick to our decision not to offer commercial licenses for the Trench Crusade Backdrop Books.

There's a bunch of different rights at work here, and it's far from as simple as the situation with our own non-Trench Backdrop Books, and we don't want commercial licenses to be complicated or create complex situations. So not doing them is by far the best option.

Stretch Goals?

So Stretch Goals! We opted not to have any formal stretch goals at launch, and I think that was the right call - we skipped adding pages to books, and just made them the regular size for our books right away, rather than performatively taking stuff away and then adding it back in.

But I did also make some murmurs about possible stretch goals depending on how we did. So! We had a little bit of organising to do with our various partners, but I can now confirm that we will be giving everyone who has backed the campaign a free PDF that collects all the tutorials from updates, and more!

You wont have to check back to the campaign updates if you want the best advice for using your books - you'll be able to read them on the device of your choice. You wont need to do anything to get this - we'll send it to everyone as soon as it's done.

A New Add On Approaches!

This book of tutorials will also be made available as an Add On as a physical book! That will happen early next week, in time for the final days of the campaign. It will be the same specification as the backdrop books - 32 pages, A4, spiral bound, so that it stays open on your workbench, and you can follow along as you need to. We'll fill it with the existing tutorials, examples, and anything else we can fit in there!

It's a strange thing to refer to these as stretch goals, since we didnt set them up as targets, but I think we're well passed the milestones we'd need to pass to make it possible - thank you! It's your support that has made those possible.

I'll be back with more on this soon!

I think that's quite enough reading for now! I hope you have a great weekend and get some gaming in - hopefully some Trench Crusade? I've got some exciting new Westfalia minis to paint, so I know what I'll be doing.

Thanks again for all your amazing pledges!
